Harris Hill in 2011

The fifth year of competition on the new Harris Hill ski jump saw the second two-day FIS Cup competition with 28 competitors from USA, Canada, Japan, Slovenia, Ukraine and the Netherlands -- yes, there is a Dutch ski jumping team.

A small competition was held each morning for three women and four junior men who didn't qualify for the FIS field. The podium looked the same in the two FIS jumps, with Chris Lamb of Andover NH winning both days, but places were shuffled in the morning competitions.

We offer four results files, all .pdf files created by the European service ewoxx, the official scorer for FIS ski jumping.

Sunday's Podium
This was Sunday's FIS jump podium, with Chris Lamb (center) celebrating his Harris Hill victory, Yuya Yamada (left) second place, and (right) Nick Mattoon and Nick Fairall tied for third. Saturday's FIS podium was the same except that Fairall had the third step to himself. This was the second time that Lamb put his name on the triangular Fred Harris trophy -- one more time and he gets to take it home, so he promises to come back to Harris Hill. Lamb won the Harris competition in 2010 when he set the present hill record with a jump of 102 meters.
