Empire State Winter Games Ski Jumping Lake Placid, NY Thurdsay, February 7, 2013 |
Organized by NYSEF Coaches and Volunteers
with ORDA support, at ORDA Olympic Ski Jumps
When the State of New York gave up on the Winter Empire State Games, the local Lake Placid folks picked up the ball and the Games have gone on. This year the schedule of the games conflicted with the Eastern Championships in Salisbury so the Empire State Games jumping was moved to Thursday, Feb 7. The mid-week competition attracted only local skiers so all competitors in the results below are listed as NYSEF members. Competitions were held on the K-48 meter jump and on the nice new K-20. Fourteen skiers participated: 13 on the 20m and 10 on the 48m -- nine skiers competed on both hills. Gabby Armstrong and Landon Livreri were double winners. |
